The Hirschmann SPIDER-SL-20-08T1999999TY9HHHH is an eight-port all-copper unmanaged industrial Fast Ethernet switch from the SPIDER III family, providing eight auto-crossing, auto-negotiating, auto-polarity 10/100BASE-TX RJ45 ports for plug-and-play Ethernet switching in industrial environments requiring both high copper port density and a wide operating temperature range. Part number 942132017, this variant is the direct wide-temperature counterpart to the standard-temperature SSL20-8TX (942132002), extending the lower operating limit from 0°C to -40°C and the upper limit from +60°C to +70°C, making it suitable for outdoor cabinets, cold-store facilities, transportation infrastructure, and other applications exposed to ambient temperature extremes. Both variants share the same 38 x 102 x 79mm IP30 compact DIN rail plastic housing at 150g and 1.5W maximum power consumption, but the TY-coded model is the appropriate selection wherever the operating temperature specification of the SY-coded variant is insufficient.
