Description
The Neousys NRU-220S and NRU-222S are high-performance rugged fanless AI NVR platforms built around the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin system-on-module, purpose-built for intelligent video analytics, predictive maintenance, and intelligent transportation system applications at the edge. Powered by the Jetson AGX Orin SOM with up to 2048 CUDA cores, 64 Tensor cores, and 2x NVDLA 2.0 engines, the NRU-220S series delivers 275 sparse TOPS INT8 AI inference and simultaneous transcoding of up to twenty-two 1080P video streams, making it one of the most capable compact AI NVR platforms available for real-time multi-camera inference. Available in 32GB and 64GB LPDDR5 configurations as well as the Jetson AGX Orin Industrial (JAOi) variant offering -40°C to 75°C operation, the platform covers a broad range of performance and environmental requirements. The NRU-220S uses standard RJ45 screw-lock connectors while the NRU-222S replaces these with M12 X-coded 8-pin connectors for extreme ruggedness in agricultural, construction, and mining machinery where conventional connectors would fail under continuous shock and vibration. Both models provide two 2.5GbE ports by Intel I225 and four IEEE 802.3at PoE+ GbE ports with 100W total budget for powering IP cameras, alongside one USB 3.2 Gen2, two USB 2.0, one DisplayPort at 4K, one isolated RS-485, two RS-232 ports, two CAN 2.0 ports, and four-channel isolated DI and DO. Storage covers two front-accessible 2.5-inch 7mm SSD trays, one M.2 2280 NVMe PCIe Gen4 socket, and 64GB eMMC on the Orin SOM. Wireless expansion uses two mini PCIe sockets for WiFi and GNSS/LTE, and one M.2 3042/3052 B key with dual micro SIM for 4G/5G. The 8 to 48V DC input with ignition power control and Neousys’ patented damping bracket enable in-vehicle deployment, while EN 50155 (EN 50121-3) railway EMC certification extends the application scope to rail vehicles.
