The Kontron VM6062 is a 6U VME single-slot server-class blade computer powered by the Intel Xeon Processor D-1508 (2-core/4-thread, 2.2 GHz) with up to 32 GB ECC DDR4 soldered memory, dual Gigabit Ethernet, USB 3.0, HDMI, and COM ports on the front panel, alongside dual PMC/XMC slots, dual M.2, and a mini-PCIe socket. Part of the Kontron Extended Life Cycle family with a 15-year minimum programme life, it is designed for defence, telecommunications, transportation, and industrial data-intensive VME applications. The VadaTech VME217 is a 6U single-slot VME managed Layer 2 Gigabit Ethernet switch designed for embedded defence, aerospace, and industrial computing applications. It delivers 8 ports of 10/100/1000 Ethernet via RJ-45 and 4 ports via SFF transceivers on the base board, with optional expansion to 24 ports via SFP on a double-slot configuration. Supporting 4K IEEE 802.1Q VLANs, QoS, spanning tree, and up to 8K MAC addresses, the VME217 is managed via HTTP and draws power directly from the VME bus backplane.
