The Hirschmann SPIDER-SL-20-06T1S29999SY9HHHH is a seven-port unmanaged industrial Fast Ethernet switch from the SPIDER III family, combining six auto-crossing, auto-negotiating, auto-polarity 10/100BASE-TX RJ45 copper ports with one 100BASE-FX single-mode fibre port via SC connector, making it the six-copper-port counterpart to the four-copper-port SSL20-4TX/1FX-SM for installations requiring more local copper device connections alongside a long-reach fibre backbone link. Part number 942132011, the switch supports single-mode 9/125µm fibre distances up to 30km with a 16dB link budget at 1300nm, enabling Ethernet backbone connectivity across large industrial sites, utility substations, and campus networks far beyond the reach of multimode fibre. All six copper ports use auto MDI/MDIX crossing for cable-independent plug-and-play, and store-and-forward switching preserves data integrity across all seven ports.
