The Hirschmann SPIDER-SL-20-04T1M49999SY9HHHH is a five-port unmanaged industrial Fast Ethernet switch from the SPIDER III family, configured with four auto-crossing, auto-negotiating, auto-polarity 10/100BASE-TX RJ45 copper ports and one 100BASE-FX multimode fibre port using ST connectors rather than the SC connectors found on closely related models. Part number 942132008, this variant is specifically suited to installations where existing fibre cabling infrastructure uses ST-type terminations, which remain prevalent in older factory automation, building management, and process plant networks across Scandinavia and continental Europe. Multimode fibre coverage extends to 5000m on 50/125µm cable with an 8dB link budget at 1310nm, and 4000m on 62.5/125µm cable with an 11dB link budget at 1300nm, providing full coverage for typical plant and campus distances.
