The Hirschmann SPIDER-PL-20-24T1Z6Z6 is a high-density 24-port plus dual SFP unmanaged industrial Fast Ethernet rail switch from the SPIDER III family, designed for automation, infrastructure, and process industries requiring a large number of copper Ethernet ports with the option for fibre uplinks over extended distances. Part number 942141037, the switch provides 24 auto-crossing, auto-negotiating, auto-polarity 10/100BASE-TX RJ45 ports with up to 100m copper reach, alongside two 100Mbit/s SFP slots that accept Hirschmann M-FAST SFP modules for single-mode distances up to 25km with a 13dB link budget, multimode 50/125µm up to 5000m with an 8dB link budget, or multimode 62.5/125µm up to 4000m with an 11dB link budget. This SFP flexibility allows the switch to serve as both a high-density access layer device and a long-distance fibre aggregation point within industrial Ethernet architectures.
