Description
The Hirschmann LRS40-7TX/3SFP/1C is a Gigabit lite managed DIN rail industrial Ethernet switch from the LRS40 series, providing the same compact form factor and HiEOS Layer 2 feature set as the LRS30 platform but elevating all 7 copper access ports to full Gigabit speeds for bandwidth-intensive industrial automation and infrastructure applications. The switch offers 7 10/100/1000BASE-TX Gigabit copper ports for high-throughput device connections, 3 FE/GE SFP ports for flexible fibre or copper SFP-based Gigabit connectivity, and 1 combo port supporting both 10/100/1000BASE-TX and 100/1000BASE-FX SFP simultaneously, providing maximum topology flexibility in mixed-media network segments where both copper and fibre endpoints must be served from a single DIN rail device. Hirschmann’s HiEOS Layer 2 software delivers VLAN per 802.1Q, QoS port prioritisation, IGMP snooping, store-and-forward switching, RSTP per IEC 62439-1, MRP client, and ERPS and ERPS v2 ring redundancy for network resilience in ring topologies. Management is available via HTTPS, SSHv2, SNMP v1/v2/v3, CLI, and HiDiscovery. The 68 x 135 x 118 mm DIN rail housing operates from -40°C to +60°C with IP30 protection and a 24 VDC input consuming 8.2W.
