The Hirschmann BRS40-20TX is an all-Gigabit managed industrial Ethernet switch from the BOBCAT series, providing 20 ports of 10/100/1000BASE-TX connectivity via RJ45 for engineers requiring full Gigabit throughput across every port without the bandwidth bottlenecks associated with Fast Ethernet platforms. In a compact fanless DIN Rail housing running on dual 12–24 VDC supplies at 17 W, the BRS40-20TX brings the complete BOBCAT feature set to high-bandwidth industrial network applications. TSN 802.1Qbv support on interfaces 1/1 to 1/3 enables deterministic real-time Ethernet communication, addressing the growing demand for time-sensitive networking in industrial automation and motion control applications.
