BRS30-20TX-EEC – Extended Temp 20-Port TSN Switch by Hirschmann

The Hirschmann BRS30-20TX-EEC extends the BOBCAT managed switch range to environments where standard operating temperatures are insufficient, delivering an Extended Environmental Class rating of -40 to +70°C alongside a robust metal housing for added mechanical durability. This Hirschmann switch provides 20 ports — 16x 10/100BASE-TX RJ45, 4x 10/100/1000BASE-TX RJ45 Gigabit ports, and dual Gigabit TX uplinks — in a fanless DIN Rail form factor, making it equally capable of dense device aggregation and high-bandwidth uplink connectivity in a single unit. Engineers deploying industrial networks in transportation, outdoor enclosures, Nordic or Arctic conditions, or ruggedised industrial facilities will find the BRS30-20TX-EEC’s temperature range and construction specifically suited to their requirements. TSN 802.1Qbv on interfaces 1/1 to 1/3 enables deterministic real-time Ethernet for time-sensitive control systems, while PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP, and IEC 61850 provide broad industrial protocol coverage. Redundancy is ensured through HIPER-Ring, MRP (IEC 62439-2) as both manager and client, RSTP, Link Aggregation with LACP, and Redundant Network Coupling.
