Description
The Hirschmann RSPE30-8TX/4C-EEC-2HV-3S is a hardened, fanless extended temperature modular managed industrial Ethernet switch from Hirschmann’s RSPE30 EEC series, delivering the same scalable 12-to-28-port architecture as the standard RSPE30 but with an operating range of -40 to +70°C verified against IEC 60068-2-2 dry heat testing at +85°C for 16 hours. The base unit provides eight 10/100 Fast Ethernet TX ports and four Fast/Gigabit Ethernet combo RJ45/SFP ports, expandable via two media module slots. Dual wide-range power inputs accept 60–250 VDC or 110–230 VAC, enabling direct connection to substation DC buses and industrial AC supplies. The advanced redundancy suite encompasses MRP manager and client, HIPER-Ring with Link Aggregation, MSTP, Sub Ring Manager, Redundant Network Coupling, VRRP with HiVRRP tracking, and RSTP guards. Full L3 routing adds OSPFv2, RIPv2, static unicast routing, NAT-free VLAN-based router interfaces, Proxy ARP, and IGMP multicast routing. Management includes OPC-UA Server, ITxPT Module Inventory, IPv6 Management, and Service Discovery.
