The Hirschmann RSP25-8TX/3SFP-EEC-2HV-3S is a hardened enhanced managed DIN rail switch from the Hirschmann RSP25 series, providing eleven switching ports in a configuration of eight 10/100BASE-TX RJ45 copper ports and three SFP Fast Ethernet slots for fibre uplinks. It is distinguished from the standard RSP25 variants by three key attributes: an extended operating temperature range of -40 to +70 degrees Celsius (with dry heat testing to +85 degrees Celsius per IEC 60068-2-2), dual high-voltage universal power inputs accepting 60–250 VDC (48–320 VDC range) and 110–230 VAC (88–265 VAC), and a significantly expanded software feature set including full wire-speed L3 routing with OSPFv2, RIP v1/v2, static routing, VRRP with HiVRRP enhancements, ICMP filter, proxy ARP, IGMP proxy multicast routing, and 1:1 NAT. Redundancy is comprehensive: PRP per IEC62439-3, HSR, Fast MRP per IEC62439-2, RSTP, MSTP (802.1Q), LACP, HIPER-Ring, Sub Ring Manager, Redundant Network Coupling, and HSR-PRP RedBox. Switching enhancements over the base RSP25 include QinQ double VLAN tagging, IP subnet-based VLAN, MAC-based VLAN, protocol-based VLAN, GVRP, GMRP, IP DiffServ ingress classification and policing, and SFLOW.
