The high SFP slot count supports extensive fibre ring, star, and mesh topologies across large substation yards, industrial campus installations, and process plant environments where copper cable runs would introduce grounding or EMI issues. Running HiOS Layer 2 firmware, the switch provides PRP and HSR per IEC 62439-3 for seamless zero-downtime failover, MRP per IEC 62439-2 in both manager and client roles, RSTP per IEEE 802.1D-2004, and LACP, alongside advanced VLAN, QoS, IGMP, and jumbo frame capabilities.
