The Hirschmann MSM40-4TX-CE is a Gigabit Ethernet copper media module for the Hirschmann PowerMICE MSP modular industrial switch platform, providing four 10/100/1000BASE-TX RJ45 ports for standard twisted pair copper connectivity up to 100 m per port. The CE designation identifies this variant as the version meeting the CE marking requirements under the relevant European directives, while sharing the core functional specification of the MSM40-4TX family including tri-speed auto-negotiating RJ45 copper ports at 10, 100, and 1000 Mbps. Powered entirely via the PowerMICE switch backplane at just 3W, the MSM40-4TX-CE requires no dedicated power connection and generates minimal heat load within the switch chassis.
