LioN-X 0980 XSL 3912-121-007D-01F – IO-Link Master with CC-Link by Lumberg Automation

The Lumberg Automation LioN-X 0980 XSL 3912-121-007D-01F is a multiprotocol IO-Link Master module designed for industrial automation engineers integrating sensors and actuators across multiple fieldbus environments. Supporting PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, EtherCAT, Modbus TCP, and CC-Link IE Field Basic alongside IIoT protocols including OPC UA, MQTT, CoAP, and REST, it provides eight Class A IO-Link Master ports in a compact IP67/IP69K-rated zinc die-cast housing. Operating across -40 °C to +70 °C with a shock resistance of 50 g, it is built for the most demanding factory floor conditions. Available from Recab, your Nordic partner for Lumberg Automation IO-Link solutions.
Description
The Lumberg Automation LioN-X 0980 XSL 3912-121-007D-01F is a high-performance multiprotocol IO-Link Master module engineered for advanced industrial automation applications where fieldbus flexibility and IIoT connectivity are equally critical. Part of the established LioN-X product family from Lumberg Automation, a Belden brand, this standalone IO-Link Master supports PROFINET V2.3 CC-C, EtherNet/IP CIP V3.2x with Device Level Ring, EtherCAT ETG.1000, Modbus TCP, and CC-Link IE Field Basic V2 all within a single device, eliminating the need for separate hardware across different plant segments. Eight IO-Link Class A ports conform to IO-Link specification V1.1.3 with COM1, COM2, and COM3 transmission modes supported, while each port also functions as a digital input or output channel, providing maximum flexibility in sensor and actuator wiring. IIoT integration is covered natively through OPC UA, MQTT, CoAP, REST API, and Syslog support, making the device directly compatible with modern Industry 4.0 architectures and edge analytics platforms. The housing is constructed from nickel-plated zinc die-cast metal rated IP65, IP67, and IP69K with full potting, tolerating operating temperatures from -40 °C to +70 °C, shock loads of 50 g at 11 ms, and vibration up to 15 g across 5–500 Hz. Ethernet connectivity is provided via two M12 D-coded ports, power via M12 L-coded connectors, and I/O via eight M12 A-coded ports. Approved to cULus UL 61010-1, CE, RoHS, ODVA, PNO, and IO-Link standards, the device suits automotive production lines, food and beverage processing, machine building, and logistics automation. Available from Recab, your Nordic partner for Lumberg Automation IO-Link solutions.
