The switch supports up to 34 ports in total, with Port Group 1 providing 4 TX and 4 SFP Gigabit ports for mixed copper and fibre access, Port Group 2 adding 8 TX Gigabit copper ports, Port Group 3 contributing 8 SFP Gigabit fibre ports, and Port Group 5 delivering 2 Gigabit SFP uplinks. This combination of 12 TX and 14 SFP access ports gives network architects a highly flexible mixed-media Gigabit topology for connecting both copper and fibre-attached devices in the same chassis.
