The Hirschmann GRS2030-M0000-M0000 is the maximum-density copper TX configuration of the GREYHOUND 2000 series, providing network engineers with 32 Fast Ethernet TX ports by fully populating all four Fast Ethernet port groups with 8 TX ports each, supplemented by 2 Gigabit SFP uplinks in Port Group 5 for a total capacity of 34 ports. This configuration is purpose-built for large-scale industrial automation, manufacturing, and building control deployments where a very high number of copper-connected field devices, sensors, controllers, or workstations must be aggregated into a single managed switch without the need for stacking or additional access-layer hardware. The fanless 19-inch rack chassis operates across -40°C to +70°C, ensuring reliability in factory floors, process plants, and transportation control rooms. Running Hirschmann’s HiOS Level 2A software, the GRS2030-M0000-M0000 delivers comprehensive layer 2 switching with QinQ VLAN tagging, DiffServ QoS, IGMP snooping, jumbo frames, and network redundancy via HIPER-Ring, MRP per IEC 62439-2, RSTP, and MSTP.
