BRS30-8TX/4SFP-EEC-HL – Hazardous Loc Extended Temp Switch by Hirschmann

The Hirschmann BRS30-8TX/4SFP-EEC-HL is the triple-certified variant of the BOBCAT 12-port SFP managed switch, combining an Extended Environmental Class operating range of -40 to +70°C, ISA12.12.01 hazardous location approval for use in explosive atmosphere classified zones, and four SFP fibre uplink slots supporting 100/1000 Mbit/s in interchangeable single mode, long-haul, or multimode configurations. This Hirschmann switch is designed for network engineers deploying industrial Ethernet in the most demanding environments — oil and gas platforms, chemical processing sites, remote Arctic facilities, and mining operations — where temperature extremes, explosive atmospheres, and the need for configurable long-reach fibre connectivity all apply simultaneously.
