Description
The Hirschmann BRS30-24TX is a 24-port managed industrial Ethernet switch from the Hirschmann BOBCAT series, providing the highest all-copper port density in the BOBCAT range for engineers building large, structured industrial Ethernet networks with centralised switch aggregation. It delivers 20x 10/100BASE-TX RJ45 access ports, 4x 10/100/1000BASE-TX RJ45 Gigabit ports, and dual Gigabit TX uplinks — all in a compact fanless DIN Rail housing with IP30 protection, operating from 0 to +60°C with an MTBF of nearly 1.9 million hours. TSN 802.1Qbv on interfaces 1/1 to 1/3 enables deterministic, low-latency Ethernet communication essential for real-time PLC coordination, motion control, and time-critical manufacturing processes. The BRS30-24TX supports PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP, and IEC 61850, providing out-of-the-box compatibility with the full range of industrial automation and control architectures. Network resilience is delivered through HIPER-Ring, MRP (IEC 62439-2) as both manager and client, RSTP, Link Aggregation with LACP, and Redundant Network Coupling.
