Description
The Belden LioN-X 0980 XSL 3912-121-007D-00F represents the next generation of IO-Link Master technology, combining broad industrial protocol support with native IIoT connectivity in a single field device. It supports PROFINET Conformance Class C, EtherNet/IP with Device Level Ring and Quick Connect, EtherCAT with CoE and FoE mailbox protocols, and Modbus TCP as a slave device. On top of standard industrial protocols, it natively supports OPC UA, MQTT, CoAP, and REST API for direct integration with cloud platforms, edge gateways, and Industry 4.0 architectures without the need for additional middleware or gateways. The device provides 8 Class A IO-Link Master channels via M12 5-pole A-coded connectors, with IO-Link specification V1.1.3 and cycle times as fast as 1 ms across all channels at 32 bytes in and out. It also supports up to 16 configurable digital input and 16 digital output channels. The zinc die-cast 60 mm metal housing is fully potted, rated IP65, IP67, and IP69K, and operates from -40°C to 70°C with 15g vibration and 50g shock resistance, making it suitable for demanding environments in transportation, energy, and advanced manufacturing.
