Belden LioN-P 0980 ESL 199-121 – Multiprotocol IO-Link Master with PROFINET and EtherNet/IP

The Belden LioN-P 0980 ESL 199-121 is a standalone IO-Link Master designed for industrial environments where both PROFINET and EtherNet/IP networks coexist or where future flexibility in protocol selection is required. The multiprotocol capability means a single device can be deployed across different automation platforms without needing separate hardware variants, reducing inventory complexity for system integrators and machine builders. It provides 4 digital input channels and up to 8 configurable IO-Link Master channels via M12 A-coded connectors, with Class A ports on X1 to X4 and Class B ports on X5 to X8. PROFINET communication supports Conformance Class C, RT and IRT performance, MRP client redundancy, shared device functionality, and fast startup under 2000 ms. EtherNet/IP communication supports Device Level Ring for network redundancy, Exclusive Owner and Listen Only connection types, and BootP/DHCP addressing. Bus connection uses M12 4-pole D-coded connectors and power supply uses M12 5-pole L-coded connectors. The zinc die-cast metal housing is fully potted, nickel plated, and rated IP65, IP67, and IP69K when used with compatible connectors. Operating temperature is -20°C to 70°C.
