The Hirschmann BRS32-12TX-EEC extends the BOBCAT PoE+ managed switch range to the most demanding environmental conditions, combining IEEE 802.3at PoE+ inline power capability with an Extended Environmental Class operating range of -40 to +70°C and a robust metal housing for extreme climate and outdoor industrial deployments. It delivers 12 ports in total: 8x 10/100BASE-TX RJ45 PoE+ access ports with up to 240 W total power budget, 4x 10/100/1000BASE-TX RJ45 Gigabit ports, and dual Gigabit TX uplinks — operating from a 48/54 VDC PoE supply voltage with a maximum system consumption of 250 W. The metal DIN Rail housing and extended temperature rating make the BRS32-12TX-EEC the natural choice for engineers deploying PoE-powered devices — such as outdoor IP cameras, industrial wireless access points, and remote I/O terminals — in Nordic or Arctic industrial sites, transportation infrastructure, and outdoor enclosures where standard temperature ratings would be insufficient.
