The Advantech SOM-5992 is a COM Express R3.0 Basic Type 7 module designed for high-performance embedded computing applications requiring server-class processing capabilities. Built on the Intel Xeon Processor D-1500 family, this module offers exceptional scalability with processor options ranging from dual-core Pentium D1508 to 16-core Xeon D-1577, with TDP configurations from 25W to 45W to match diverse thermal and performance requirements. The module supports dual-channel DDR4 memory up to 2400MHz with ECC capability and maximum capacity of 128GB via four SO-DIMM sockets, ensuring enterprise-grade reliability and data integrity for mission-critical applications.
