Nuvo-2860VTC – Ultra-Compact In-Vehicle Computer by Neousys

The Nuvo-2860VTC from Neousys Technology represents the next generation of ultra-compact in-vehicle computers designed for demanding mobile applications including mobile gateways, surveillance systems, and passenger information systems. Built around the Intel Alder Lake Atom x7425E processor with four cores running up to 3.4 GHz and 12W TDP, this rugged computer delivers up to 1.5 times the CPU performance compared to its predecessor while supporting up to 16GB DDR5-4800 memory. The integrated Intel UHD Graphics with OpenVINO support enables light AI applications and deep learning inference at the edge. Connectivity is comprehensive with four Gigabit Ethernet ports via industrial M12 x-coded connectors, all supporting IEEE 802.3at PoE+ with a total power budget of 50W for powering IP cameras and other compatible devices. Two isolated CAN 2.0 ports with SocketCAN support in Linux facilitate seamless integration with vehicle networks, while isolated digital I/Os provide sensor and actuator control capabilities. Storage options include an internal 2.5-inch SATA bay and M.2 2280 NVMe SSD support. Wireless connectivity is addressed through one M.2 B-key slot and two full-size mini-PCIe sockets with internal SIM card slots for 4G and 5G module installation. The system accepts wide-range 8V to 35V DC input with built-in ignition power control, ensuring reliable operation across various vehicle electrical systems. With E-Mark certification, EN 50155 EMC compliance, and an operating temperature range of -40°C to 70°C, the Nuvo-2860VTC is engineered for harsh transportation environments. The compact 206 x 144 x 65mm form factor with wall mount capability makes it ideal for space-constrained installations in buses, trains, trucks, and other vehicles.
