Description
The Neousys POC-700 Series is the next-generation ultra-compact embedded controller in the Neousys POC family, available in two configurations: the POC-715 powered by the Intel Core i3-N305 Alder Lake processor with 8 cores, 8 threads, and 32 EU UHD Graphics, and the POC-712 powered by the Intel Atom x7425E with 4 cores and 24 EU UHD Graphics. Both models support Intel OpenVINO for AI inference, making them well suited to intelligent vision applications at the network edge. Memory support extends to 16 GB DDR5-4800 SDRAM via a single SODIMM socket, providing up to 1.8x the memory bandwidth of DDR4 for enhanced system throughput. The four Gigabit Ethernet ports by Intel I350-AM4, all with IEEE 802.3at PoE+ on the POC-715, simplify power delivery to connected industrial cameras and IoT devices, while four USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports with screw-lock connectors provide secure high-speed data transfer for peripherals. Dual display outputs comprising HDMI 1.4b and DisplayPort support resolutions up to 4K for rich visual analytics and HMI interfaces. Serial connectivity covers RS-232/422/485 and additional RS-232 ports, and 4-channel isolated digital inputs and outputs enable direct integration with PLCs and control systems. An M.2 2280 M-Key socket for SATA SSD storage and a full-size mini-PCIe slot with micro SIM socket for wireless connectivity round out the interface set, and the proprietary MezIO expansion interface allows field-customisable I/O expansion. The fanless aluminium housing operating from -25°C to +70°C and meeting MIL-STD-810H for vibration and shock makes the POC-700 Series an excellent fit for machine vision, smart city surveillance, industrial automation, and ruggedised embedded computing.
