Description
The Darveen DBC-3400 is a versatile fanless DIN rail industrial PC offering a wide choice of processor options and rich I/O connectivity in a compact 176 x 120 x 76 mm aluminium housing. Processor options span Intel Celeron J6412 (Elkhart Lake), Intel Core i3-10110U, Intel Core i3/i7 from the 11th generation Tiger Lake family, and Intel Core i3/i5/i7 from the 12th generation Alder Lake-U family, covering a broad performance range from 6W to 15W TDP for different application requirements. Each configuration supports one DDR4 SO-DIMM slot for up to 32GB of system memory, with storage provided via one 2.5-inch SATA HDD/SSD bay and one M.2 2280 SATA slot. The I/O portfolio is notably comprehensive for a DIN rail form factor: five COM ports including two RS-232/485 configurable ports, two Intel I210AT GbE LAN ports, six USB ports split between USB 2.0 and USB 3.0, one HDMI display output, eight opto-isolated digital I/O channels (expandable to 16 optionally), an optional dual CAN 2.0B interface, three SMA antenna holes, one Micro SIM slot, and a Mini PCIe expansion slot for wireless or other modules. The AMI UEFI BIOS with a 256-level watchdog timer and AT/ATX power modes support unattended industrial deployments on a 9–36V DC Phoenix terminal input. The aluminium housing enables DIN rail or wall mounting and operates from -10°C to +60°C. Supported operating systems include Windows 10/11 and Ubuntu Linux.
