AEC-324 – Fanless ARM Embedded Computer with Rockchip RK3568 by Darveen

The Darveen AEC-324 is a low-power fanless embedded computer designed for industrial IoT, edge computing, smart gateway, and mobile platform applications where compact size, rich connectivity, and flexible operating system support are essential. Powered by the Rockchip RK3568 quad-core Cortex-A55 processor running at up to 2.0GHz with a 12W TDP, the AEC-324 supports Android 11 and Ubuntu 18.04, offering flexibility for both industrial control and IoT application development. Memory options range from 2GB to 8GB LPDDR4X and storage from 16GB to 128GB eMMC, with additional M.2 B Key and Mini PCIe expansion slots for SSD, 4G/5G modules, and custom peripherals. Connectivity is comprehensive, including dual Realtek Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports, 4 COM ports covering RS-232 and RS-485, 4 USB ports, HDMI output at up to 4096×2304 resolution, 8 GPIO channels, and a TF card slot. Onboard Wi-Fi at 2.4GHz and 5GHz with Bluetooth 4.2 is standard, with optional 4G/5G cellular via M.2 B Key, GPS, BeiDou and GLONASS positioning, and optional CAN bus for vehicle and automation integration. The ultra-thin aluminium alloy housing is wall-mountable and operates from 0°C to 60°C with a 12V DC input via 3-pin terminal block.
