ICO150 – DIN Rail Fanless Embedded System with Intel Atom x7433RE by Axiomtek

The Axiomtek ICO150 is a compact DIN rail fanless embedded system built around the Intel Atom x7433RE quad-core processor at 1.5 GHz with a 9W TDP and SoC-integrated chipset, designed for industrial automation, edge computing, and IIoT gateway applications where DIN rail mounting, low power consumption, and wide I/O are required in a small footprint. Available in two thermal variants, the ICO150-AC covers 0°C to +50°C for standard industrial environments in a 48 x 110 x 155 mm enclosure, while the wider ICO150-AW extends to -40°C to +70°C for demanding outdoor and transportation applications in a 65 x 110 x 155 mm enclosure with enhanced thermal management. Both variants share the same core specification: a single DDR5-5600 SO-DIMM slot supporting up to 16 GB of high-bandwidth memory, complemented by M.2 B+M Key 2242 NVMe storage for the primary system drive and a half-size Mini PCIe slot for optional mSATA or Wi-Fi storage expansion. Dual Intel I226-IT 2.5GbE LAN ports with TSN (Time-Sensitive Networking) support and 2kV isolation voltage enable deterministic high-throughput industrial Ethernet connectivity, making the ICO150 compatible with next-generation TSN-based automation networks. Four COM ports supporting RS-232/422/485 for legacy field device integration, two USB 3.2 and two USB 2.0 ports, HDMI 1.4b 4K output, and an 8-bit programmable DIO cover the full range of industrial I/O requirements. A full-size Mini PCIe slot with SIM socket accommodates optional 4G-LTE wireless connectivity. OVP, UVP, OCP, and RPP power protection on the 9–36V terminal block input and the Axiomtek EAPI for intelligent remote monitoring software integration support robust unattended industrial deployment.
