The Hirschmann SSR40-5TX-PN is an unmanaged full Gigabit Ethernet DIN rail switch from the SPIDER III product family, specifically designed for automation engineers working with PROFINET — the industrial Ethernet standard widely used with Siemens and other IEC 61158-compliant PLC systems across manufacturing, process control, and machine building.
