The Hirschmann DAP847-RWCKKT899EHH Dragonfly is an outdoor dual-radio Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) industrial client point designed for the most demanding infrastructure environments. It delivers up to 2.975Gbps combined data rate across 5GHz 4×4:4 and 2.4GHz 2×2:2 radios, with a dedicated 1×1 scanning radio for security and spectrum monitoring. With IP67 protection, railway certifications including EN 50155, and a 2.5GbE M12 X-coded PoE port, it is built for trackside, transportation, and heavy industrial wireless deployments. Available from Recab, your Nordic partner for Hirschmann industrial wireless solutions.
Description
The Hirschmann DAP847-RWCKKT899EHH is an outdoor industrial Wi-Fi 6 client point from the Dragonfly series, engineered for critical wireless infrastructure where reliability, speed, and security cannot be compromised. Operating as a dual-radio device, it combines a 5GHz 802.11ax 4×4:4 radio capable of up to 2.402Gbps with a 2.4GHz 802.11ax 2×2:2 radio delivering up to 573Mbps, giving a total throughput potential of 2.975Gbps. A dedicated 1×1 scanning radio runs continuously for background security monitoring and spectrum analysis without impacting client traffic. Seven N-female external antenna connectors — four for the 5GHz band and two for 2.4GHz — provide configuration flexibility for directional or omnidirectional antenna setups in trackside or industrial environments. The single network port is a 10/100/1000/2500Mbps M12 X-coded Ethernet interface supporting IEEE 802.3at and 802.3bt PoE PD, alongside an alternative 24/110VDC PSU input via a 7/8″ connector. Security is enterprise-grade, with WPA2 and WPA3 personal and enterprise authentication, 802.1X, AES encryption, and Captive Portal support. Management capabilities include zero-touch provisioning, cluster mode, SNMP, and MESH mode for onboard applications. The IP67-rated enclosure with wall mounting withstands storage temperatures from -40 to +85°C and carries transportation approvals to EN 50155, EN 50121, and EN 45545-2 for fire protection in railway applications. CE, FCC, and UL/cUL certified, the DAP847-RWCKKT899EHH is the choice for rolling stock, wayside infrastructure, ports, and industrial wireless backbone deployments. Available from Recab, your Nordic partner for Hirschmann industrial wireless solutions.
