Description
The Neousys Technology Nuvo-2615RL Series is a purpose-built EN50155 and EN45545-compliant fanless railway computer engineered for vision-based rolling stock deployments such as NVR systems and onboard video analytics. At its core is an Intel Elkhart Lake Atom x6425E quad-core processor running at up to 3.0GHz with a 12W TDP, delivering approximately 1.8 times the performance of the previous Apollo Lake Atom generation. The system meets EN50155 Class OT4 for fanless operation from -40°C to 70°C, making it suitable for the full range of railway environmental conditions. Its isolated 43V to 160V wide-range DC input handles the voltage fluctuations typical of 110VDC railway power systems, and the Nuvo-2615RL variant adds a 2500 watt-second SuperCAP UPS that sustains the system for more than 30 seconds after a power outage before triggering a controlled software shutdown to protect data and hardware. Connectivity for IP cameras is provided by four PoE+ GbE ports via rugged M12 x-coded connectors with a total power budget of 50W, and the system supports up to 5TB of onboard storage through a combination of an M.2 2280 SATA SSD and a front-accessible 2.5-inch HDD tray accommodating drives up to 15mm in height. Expansion is available through two full-size mini-PCIe sockets for WiFi, GNSS, and CAN modules, plus an M.2 3042/3052 B Key socket for 4G or 5G mobile broadband. The platform is CE/FCC Class A certified and complies with IEC 61373 for vibration and shock, making the Nuvo-2615RL and Nuvo-2610RL models ideal for demanding rolling stock video surveillance and analytics in metro, regional, and mainline rail environments.
