ITA-560 – AI Inference Box Computer for Railway by Advantech

The Advantech ITA-560 is a high-performance fanless AI inference box computer engineered specifically for intelligent transportation systems and railway applications. Built around the powerful NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX or Orin Nano platform, this compact system delivers exceptional AI computing capability with up to 100 TOPS sparse INT8 performance through its NVIDIA Ampere GPU featuring 1024 CUDA cores and 32 Tensor cores. The 8-core or 6-core ARM Cortex-A78AE processor combined with up to 16GB of fast 128-bit LPDDR5 memory provides the computational foundation for demanding edge AI workloads including real-time video analytics, passenger counting, and predictive maintenance applications. Designed to meet the stringent requirements of railway environments, the ITA-560 is fully compliant with EN 50155 OT1 ambient temperature standards and EN 50121-3-2 EMC requirements, while IEC 61373 body mount class B certification ensures reliable operation under severe shock and vibration conditions typical of rolling stock installations. The rugged M12 connectors used throughout, including X-coded connectors for the four Gigabit Ethernet ports powered by Intel I210-IT controllers and an S-coded connector for the dual voltage 24V or 110V DC power input, provide secure and reliable connectivity in harsh industrial environments. Comprehensive expansion capabilities include Mini PCIe, M.2 B-key for 5G and LTE cellular connectivity, M.2 E-key for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, and M.2 M-key for high-speed NVMe storage. Additional I/O includes HDMI display output, CAN bus, USB 3.0 ports, RS-232 RS-422 RS-485 serial communication, and digital I/O for sensor integration.
