Description
The ADAM-5056 series digital output modules from Advantech deliver flexible and reliable switching capabilities for industrial automation, process control, and machine automation applications. This comprehensive product family includes five distinct models to address diverse application requirements. The ADAM-5056 provides 16 digital output channels with open collector outputs rated to 30V and 100mA maximum load, while the ADAM-5056D adds LED indicators for visual status monitoring. The ADAM-5056S offers enhanced specifications with sink-type isolated outputs rated to 40V and 200mA with 2500 VDC optical isolation and 70 VDC overvoltage protection. For applications requiring source-type outputs, the ADAM-5056SO delivers 16 channels with 10-35 VDC output range and 200mA per channel capability. The ADAM-5057S expands capacity to 32 channels when paired with two ADAM-3920R relay boards, providing contact ratings of 10A at 250 VAC or 30 VDC with SPST relay configuration. All modules feature plug-in screw terminal connectors accepting 14-28 AWG wire for easy field installation, and the durable ABS+PC enclosure ensures long-term reliability. The modules are CE and FCC Class A certified and RoHS compliant, making them suitable for critical infrastructure, factory automation, and machine control systems where dependable digital output switching is essential.
