BOXER-8652AI-PLUS – Fanless Edge AI System with Jetson Orin NX by AAEON

The BOXER-8652AI-PLUS from AAEON is a compact fanless embedded AI system designed for demanding edge computing and machine vision applications. Built around the NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX module, this system delivers exceptional AI inference performance with either 6-core or 8-core ARM Cortex-A78AE processors and up to 16GB LPDDR5 memory, making it suitable for complex deep learning workloads at the edge. The system features comprehensive connectivity options including dual Gigabit Ethernet ports with out-of-band management support for remote system administration, four USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports for high-speed peripheral connections, and industrial communication interfaces via DB-9 connectors for CANBus and RS-232/422/485 serial protocols. Expansion capabilities are extensive with M.2 2280 M-Key for NVMe storage pre-populated with 128GB, M.2 2230 E-Key for WiFi and Bluetooth modules, and M.2 3042/3052 B-Key supporting LTE or 5G cellular connectivity along with nano SIM slot. Security is enhanced through onboard TPM 2.0, while dual MIPI connectors enable direct camera integration for vision applications.
