The Hermes II from Concurrent Technologies represents a cutting-edge rugged 3U VPX Plug In Card engineered for mission-critical I/O intensive applications. At its core is the powerful 16-core Intel Core Ultra Series 3 Processor featuring Intel Iris Xe3 Graphics and an integrated Neural Processing Unit for hardware-accelerated AI inferencing at the edge. The board incorporates 64 Gbytes of soldered LPDDR5 DRAM with in-band ECC and multi-key total memory encryption for reliable high-speed memory operations. Networking capabilities are exceptional with a 100GBASE-KR4 Ethernet data plane implemented via Intel E810 controller, supporting IEEE 1588 Precision Time Protocol and ROCE v2 RDMA, while the control plane offers two 10GBASE-KR ports plus a 2.5GBASE-T port with Time Sensitive Network support. Security is paramount with a dedicated FPGA-based secure enclave supplementing standard Boot Guard and Secure Boot mechanisms, TPM 2.0, and optional FIPS 140-3 compliant storage up to 3.84TB via NVMe M.2 SSD.
