ARK-1251 – Intel Core Ultra Fanless DIN Rail Box PC by Advantech

The Advantech ARK-1251 is a high-performance fanless embedded box PC designed for demanding industrial edge computing and AI applications. Built around the Intel Core Ultra U series processors with either Core Ultra 5-125U or Core Ultra 7-155U options, this system delivers up to 22 TOPS of AI processing capability through its integrated NPU, making it ideal for edge AI inference workloads. The system supports up to 96GB of DDR5-5600 SO-DIMM memory across two channels, ensuring excellent performance for data-intensive applications. Connectivity is comprehensive with three Gigabit Ethernet ports including two Intel i226-LM 2.5GbE interfaces with Wake-on-LAN support, four serial ports with RS-232/422/485 options, eight-bit programmable DIO with optional CANBus replacement, and six USB ports. Dual display capability supports simultaneous 8K output through HDMI and DisplayPort interfaces. The ARK-1251 features extensive expansion options with M.2 E Key for wireless modules, M.2 B Key with nano SIM holder for cellular connectivity, and M.2 M Key for NVMe storage. Security is addressed through onboard TPM 2.0, while remote management is supported via EdgeBMC OOB and DeviceOn software. The rugged aluminum housing operates across an extended temperature range of -20 to 60°C with 0.7m/s airflow, accepts wide 12-28V DC input, and meets CE/FCC Class B, UL, and CB safety certifications. DIN-rail and wall mounting options accommodate various installation requirements in factory automation, machine vision, intelligent transportation, and smart city infrastructure deployments.
