The BOXER-8651AI-PLUS from AAEON is a compact fanless embedded AI system designed for demanding edge computing and machine vision applications. Built around the powerful NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX module with Super Mode capability, this system delivers exceptional AI inference performance in a remarkably small footprint measuring just 125mm x 90mm x 56mm. The platform is available in two configurations featuring either the 8GB variant with a 6-core ARM Cortex-A78AE processor or the 16GB version with an 8-core processor, both utilizing high-speed LPDDR5 memory for optimized AI workloads. The system supports NVIDIA JetPack 6.2 and above, providing access to comprehensive AI development tools and frameworks. Connectivity options are extensive, including four USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports for high-speed peripheral connections, Gigabit Ethernet for network integration, and HDMI output supporting resolutions up to 1920×1080. Industrial communication is addressed through a DB-9 connector providing RS-232 serial with hardware flow control and CANBus FD support, along with an 8-channel digital I/O interface via a 10-pin terminal block.
