VPX765 – 3U VPX Processor Module with Intel Core i7-1185GRE by VadaTech

The VadaTech VPX765 is a 3U OpenVPX processor module based on the 11th Generation Intel Core i7-1185GRE (Tiger Lake) quad-core processor, operating at 1.8 GHz base with 4.4 GHz turbo frequency. Designed for general-purpose embedded processing, it provides 32 GB DDR4 with in-band ECC, 64 GB SSD, PCIe x4 Gen4 and Gen3 to P1, an XMC expansion slot, dual GbE, and TPM-based secure boot. Configurable across air-cooled and conduction-cooled variants per ANSI/VITA 47, it suits defence, aerospace, and communications applications. Available from Recab, your Nordic partner for VadaTech VPX embedded computing solutions.
Description
The VadaTech VPX765 is a 3U OpenVPX processor module built around the 11th Generation Intel Core i7-1185GRE (Tiger Lake) quad-core processor, running at a base frequency of 1.8 GHz with a max turbo of 4.4 GHz, making it a strong choice for engineers designing general-purpose embedded processing solutions in demanding VITA 46-compliant systems. The module includes 32 GB of DDR4 memory with in-band ECC for data integrity and 64 GB of onboard flash SSD for operating system storage, with BIOS support for booting from onboard flash, PXE, or USB. High-speed I/O to the P1 connector includes PCIe x4 Gen4, PCIe x4 Gen3, dual Gigabit Ethernet, DisplayPort, USB 3.2, and RS-232, while the P2 connector carries XMC I/O per VITA 46.9 in an X24s+X8d+X12d mapping. The VPX765 accepts a single XMC mezzanine module, providing a flexible path for I/O expansion. A dedicated health management processor supports IPMI monitoring alongside IPMI activity and user-defined LEDs. Security is provided through an onboard TPM module for trusted platform management and secure boot. The module is available in air-cooled variants from 0°C to +55°C or -40°C to +70°C, and conduction-cooled variants extending to -40°C to +85°C per ANSI/VITA 47 classifications. VadaTech holds ISO9001:2015 and AS9100D certifications. Operating system support includes Linux by default, with VxWorks and Windows available on request. Available from Recab, your Nordic partner for VadaTech VPX embedded computing solutions.
Features
