Description
The AAEON PICO-ARU4 is a high-performance Pico-ITX embedded single board computer measuring 100 x 72 mm, built around Intel Core Ultra Series 2 processors to bring next-generation heterogeneous computing to compact embedded form factors. Offering a choice of the Intel Core Ultra 7 255U with P-cores at 2.0 GHz or the Intel Core Ultra 5 225U, both operating at a 15W TDP, the PICO-ARU4 delivers AI-capable computing performance well suited to edge intelligence, industrial automation, and advanced HMI applications. Onboard single-channel LPDDR5 6400 memory expandable up to 32 GB delivers the high bandwidth demanded by modern multithreaded workloads, while dual M.2 slots including an M.2 2280 M-Key socket with PCIe 4.0 x4 and an M.2 2230 E-Key slot with PCIe 4.0 x1 provide ample storage and wireless expansion capability. Network connectivity is provided by an Intel I226 2.5GbE controller and an Intel I219 1GbE controller with Wake-on-LAN support. Display output covers HDMI 1.4 at 4K 30 Hz and eDP 1.4 for direct panel integration, supporting dual simultaneous displays. RS-232/422/485 serial interfaces, GPIO, SMBus/I2C, and internal USB 2.0 headers ensure comprehensive peripheral and automation device integration.
