Description
The AAEON FWS-7850 is a high-performance 1U rackmount network appliance engineered for modern network infrastructure, security, and edge computing workloads. Built on 12th and 13th Generation Intel Core processors with the Intel W680 chipset, it supports up to 128GB DDR5 ECC memory, delivering strong processing capability for virtualised network functions, firewalls, and data-intensive applications. The system features dual 10GbE SFP+ ports via Intel X710, with additional scalability through three NIM slots supporting up to 24 RJ45 ports or high-speed fibre modules, enabling flexible network configurations. Storage options include dual 2.5 inch SATA drives and an M.2 PCIe x4 slot for high-speed SSDs. Connectivity is further supported by USB 3.2, HDMI, and RJ45 console access, along with TPM 2.0 for platform security. Designed for reliability, the unit includes a 300W redundant power supply and operates in standard industrial conditions from 0°C to 40°C. Its compact 1U form factor makes it suitable for rack integration in data centres, telecom infrastructure, and enterprise edge deployments.
