Overview

The Kontron KBox B-204-RPL represents a new generation of high-performance industrial box PCs designed for demanding embedded computing applications. Built around 14th Generation Intel Core processors ranging from Intel Processor 300 to Core i9-14900T with up to 24 cores combining Performance and Efficient core architecture, this system delivers exceptional processing power for complex industrial workloads. The platform supports high-speed DDR5 memory up to 64GB via dual SODIMM slots, ensuring ample capacity for memory-intensive applications. Storage flexibility is a key strength, with options including M.2 NVMe SSDs, multiple 2.5-inch SATA drives, and even 3.5-inch HDDs, providing up to 20TB total capacity with optional RAID configuration for data redundancy. The KBox B-204-RPL features comprehensive connectivity including four DisplayPort 1.4a outputs supporting resolutions up to 7680×4320 at 60Hz, dual Ethernet ports with Intel i226LM 2.5GbE and Intel i219LM 1GbE controllers both featuring Wake-on-LAN, eight USB ports across multiple generations including USB Type-C, and a configurable RS232/422/485 serial port. For applications requiring dedicated graphics processing, optional NVIDIA professional GPUs including the A400, A1000, and A4000 Ada SFF are available.
