Description
The TEWS Technologies TCP270 is a standard passive 3U CompactPCI carrier board designed to integrate a single-width PMC module into 3U CompactPCI chassis systems, enabling embedded computing integrators to leverage the wide ecosystem of PMC I/O modules within cost-effective and modular CompactPCI architectures. The TCP270 conforms to PICMG 2.0 Revision 3.0 and supports a PCI 2.2-compliant interface operating at 33 MHz and 32 bits, with 5 V and 3.3 V PCI I/O signalling voltages both supported. The board measures 160 x 100 mm and features one PMC site conforming to the PMC standard, with front panel I/O provided as standard and optional rear I/O available at the CompactPCI J2/P2 connector with PICMG 2.3 R1.0 PMC signal mapping — available as the TCP270-11R variant. It is important to note that using PMC I/O on the J2/P2 connector precludes the use of 64-bit CompactPCI backplanes. Operating across a wide temperature range of -40 to +85 °C and available in RoHS-compliant variants (TCP270-10R for front I/O only; TCP270-11R for front and rear I/O), the TCP270 is a proven mechanical adapter for engineers developing defence, aerospace, industrial automation, and research system I/O platforms that require the flexibility of PMC devices within 3U CompactPCI environments.
