Description
The Concurrent Technologies PP F84/m3d is a single-slot 6U CompactPCI processor board built around the 4-core Intel Core i3-9100HL 9th Generation processor with 6 MB SmartCache running at up to 1.6 GHz, supported by the Intel CM246 Platform Controller Hub. Targeting applications that require life-cycle extension while maintaining high computing capability, the PP F84/m3d provides 16 GB of soldered DDR4 ECC DRAM in a dual-channel architecture with single-bit error correction, ensuring data integrity in mission-critical deployments. Storage is accommodated by an M.2 SSD site supporting Type 2230 through 2280 devices with a PCIe x4 NVMe interface compatible with NVMe 1.3, enabling fast and reliable local solid-state storage. Four Gigabit Ethernet interfaces implemented via an Intel I350-AM4 quad-port controller provide two front panel RJ45 connections and two rear connections via J3 with optional PICMG 2.16 packet switching backplane support.
