UNO-430-E1H – IP66 Waterproof Data Gateway with Explosion Protection by Advantech

The Advantech UNO-430-E1H is a purpose-built waterproof data gateway designed for deployment in harsh industrial environments where exposure to water, dust, and potentially explosive atmospheres is a concern. Built around the Intel Atom E3950 quad-core processor running at up to 2GHz with 8GB of DDR3L memory, this industrial gateway delivers reliable edge computing performance in the most demanding conditions. The all-around IP66-rated enclosure with cable gland I/O connectors eliminates the need for additional protective cabinets, allowing the UNO-430-E1H to function as a standalone data acquisition solution. Its C1D2, ATEX Zone 2, and IECEx certifications make it suitable for hazardous locations in oil and gas facilities, mining operations, food and beverage processing plants, and chemical and pharmaceutical manufacturing environments. The gateway provides comprehensive connectivity options including dual Gigabit Ethernet ports with IEEE 802.3u support, two RS-422/485 serial ports with 2500VDC isolation protection, and one RS-232 console port. Internal M.2 slots support Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LTE, 5G, and GPS module expansion for flexible wireless communication capabilities. Hardware security is ensured through built-in TPM 2.0, while the system supports both Microsoft Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC and Advantech Linux Ubuntu 18.04. The robust aluminum housing features a front door design for easy internal access and maintenance without compromising ingress protection.
