The Lumberg Automation WRKWT 8-523 is an M12 Food and Beverage wash-down sensor and actuator single-ended cordset engineered for reliable connectivity in the most demanding hygienic and industrial environments. Part of the Lumberg Automation M12 F&B product family, this cordset features an angled female 8-pin A-coded connector with a white PP-GF body and stainless steel coupling nut attachment, rated at 30 V AC/DC operating voltage and 2 A rated current, with a rated impulse voltage of 0.8 kV and insulation resistance exceeding 10⁹ Ohm. The connector achieves IP65, IP67, IP68 at 1 m for 24 hours, and IP69K protection when mated and locked with compatible Hirschmann or Lumberg Automation connectors, making it well suited for high-pressure wash-down processes in food processing, beverage production, and pharmaceutical manufacturing. The 8-wire TPE-V cable in orange carries a cross-section of 0.25 mm² with a cable diameter of 6.2 mm, flame-retardant to the UL horizontal flame test, and is free of silicone, FCKW, cadmium, and lead, with resistance to microbes and hydrolysis. The cable operates from -40°C to +90°C for fixed installations and -25°C to +90°C for flexible installations, with support for drag chain use down to -25°C. ECOLAB approval confirms compatibility with common cleaning agents, and the cordset is UL recognised under file E315587 per UL 2238. Pin wiring follows the standard A-coded assignment with white, brown, green, yellow, grey, pink, blue, and red conductors. Available in lengths of 2 m, 5 m, 10 m, 15 m, 20 m, and 25 m.
