M12 Inner Push Pull

M12 Inner Push Pull – Tool-Free M12 Connector Portfolio by Lumberg Automation, a Belden Brand

The Lumberg Automation M12 Inner Push Pull portfolio, comprising the RP12M for rail applications and the PP12M for standard industrial use, provides a tool-free fast-locking M12 connection method conforming to IEC 61076-2-010 that prevents accidental disconnects and reduces installation time. Offering X, D, and A codings for data transmission up to 10 Gbit/s, IP65/IP67 protection, and backward compatibility with standard M12 screw locking, it is designed for engineers specifying connectors for railway rolling stock, PROFINET, and industrial Ethernet applications. Available from Recab, your Nordic partner for Lumberg Automation connector solutions.
Description
The Lumberg Automation M12 Inner Push Pull portfolio represents the world’s first M12 X-coded cordsets and pigtails aligned with the IEC 61076-2-010 Push Pull standard, offering industrial engineers and system integrators a secure, tool-free connection method that eliminates accidental disconnection without sacrificing installation speed. The range comprises two main connector families: the RP12M Push Pull designed for railway rolling stock applications and compliant with EN 45545-2 and EN 50155 standards, and the PP12M Push Pull for standard industrial environments including PROFINET and Industrial Ethernet deployments. Available in X-coding for Gigabit Ethernet at up to 10 Gbit/s, D-coding for Fast Ethernet and PROFINET Type C, and A-coding for sensor and actuator applications, the portfolio addresses the full range of industrial data transmission requirements. IP65 and IP67 ingress protection ratings ensure reliable operation in wet or contaminated environments, while the integrated arrow on the connector body indicates the coding direction, eliminating trial and error during installation. The socket design supports both standard M12 screw locking and the new Push Pull method from the same device, providing backward compatibility that protects existing infrastructure investment. Compatible with Hirschmann BXP switches incorporating integrated Push Pull logic, the portfolio is supplied as molded cordsets, single-ended pigtails, and receptacle housings. Cable options span PUR black EN 45545-2 railway cables with X-FRNC/LSNH jackets, PROFINET Type C PUR green cables, and standard industrial PUR/PVC sensor cables in A-coding from 4 to 5 pin. The M12 Inner Push Pull portfolio is ideal for railway rolling stock data networks, PROFINET machine wiring, and high-speed Industrial Ethernet infrastructure. Available from Recab, your Nordic partner for Lumberg Automation connector solutions.
Features
  • IEC 61076-2-010 compliant inner Push Pull design provides a tool-free secure connection that prevents accidental disconnection in vibrating environments.
  • RP12M railway variants meet EN 45545-2 and EN 50155 standards for rolling stock applications with X-FRNC/LSNH low-smoke cable jackets.
  • X, D, and A codings support data transmission rates up to 10 Gbit/s covering Gigabit Ethernet, PROFINET, and sensor/actuator applications.
  • IP65 and IP67 ingress protection ratings ensure reliable signal and data transfer in wet, dusty, and contaminated industrial environments.
  • The integrated arrow on the connector body indicates coding direction, enabling correct first-attempt mating without trial and error during installation.
  • Socket design is backward compatible with standard M12 screw locking, protecting existing device and infrastructure investment during transition.
