Description
The Hirschmann GDM3106-A0U-10F is a field attachable valve connector from the GDM Standard product family, designed to the Form A 18 mm profile specified in DIN EN 175301-803-A and ISO 4400, and intended for engineers wiring solenoid valves and actuators in hydraulic systems, pneumatic machinery, and general industrial automation equipment. The angled 90-degree body design allows cable routing parallel to the valve face, reducing installation clearance requirements in compact machine builds, while the screw-type contact termination accommodates conductors from 0.25 to 1.5 mm² cross section via an M16 cable gland suitable for cable diameters from 4.5 to 9 mm. The connector carries 3+PE contacts with the protective earth routed across the cable outlet, rated at 250 V operating voltage with a 4.0 kV rated impulse voltage and 16 A current capacity, meeting Overvoltage Category III per DIN EN 60664-1. The housing, contact bearer, and cable gland are all manufactured from glass-fibre reinforced polyamide PA GF with UL 94 HB flammability classification, providing good mechanical and chemical resistance in industrial environments. Contacts are brass CuZn with copper-tin alloy plating, and insulation resistance exceeds 10^9 ohm with contact resistance below 10 mOhm. IP65 protection is achieved when mated and locked in accordance with IEC standards. The operating temperature range spans -40 to +125°C for the connector body, with mating-dependent ranges from -30 to +90°C with NBR gasket or -15 to +125°C with FKM gasket. The GDM3106-A0U-10F carries VDE registration number E349 and SEV approval, is REACH compliant and RoHS compliant, and is supplied in bulk packaging of 200 pieces with a central M3x35 steel screw included.
