Description
The AAEON RT-661R is a robustly constructed 4U rackmount industrial chassis designed to house ATX form factor motherboards in both rack-mounted and standalone configurations, offering systems integrators and industrial computing engineers a flexible, expansion-rich platform for building purpose-built industrial computers. At the heart of the RT-661R is a seven-slot full-height PCIe expansion backplane with support for a wide range of add-on cards, including GPU, capture, frame grabber, and communications boards, making it well suited for vision inspection, data acquisition, simulation, and multi-port communications applications. The front panel provides two USB 2.0 ports, power and reset switches, and power and HDD status LEDs, while a 120mm front cooling fan with a filter provides effective thermal management for installed expansion cards. Drive bay options are flexible, supporting either four 3.5-inch plus one 2.5-inch internal bays, or two external 5.25-inch bays plus one 3.5-inch and one 2.5-inch internal bay, accommodating a range of storage configurations. Power is supplied via an ATX PSU or optional mini-redundant power supply, with two optional 60mm rear fans for additional cooling. The chassis measures 427 mm wide by 450 mm deep by 177 mm high and is offered in factory-configured variants with Intel Q670E, C246, Q370, H310, Q170, and H110 chipset motherboards supporting Intel Core processors from the 6th through 13th generations.
