Description
The Darveen DIC-317 is a wall-mount industrial computing chassis engineered to house full ATX motherboards in environments where rack or desktop mounting is not practical. The seven-slot PCIe/PCI expansion capability makes it well-suited to high-I/O industrial computing applications such as machine control, data acquisition, test and measurement, and process automation, where multiple expansion cards including motion controllers, digital I/O boards, and communication adapters must be installed simultaneously alongside the main compute board. The chassis accommodates one 3.5-inch hard disk drive bay and two 2.5-inch drive bays for storage flexibility, and supports a standard ATX power supply for wide compatibility with off-the-shelf power units. Thermal management is handled by a 10cm ball-bearing cooling fan with a replaceable dust filter, enabling continuous 24/7 operation in environments where airborne particulates could otherwise compromise the system. The front panel provides two USB 2.0 ports, a power LED, and remote switch and power LED connections for integration into custom operator panels or cabinet doors. Dimensions are 330 x 325 x 180 mm with a 7kg weight, and the wall-mount design allows installation in control cabinets, machine frames, or panel interiors where conventional tower or desktop placement is not possible. Operating temperature is 0°C to +50°C with storage down to -20°C, and 10% to 85% relative humidity is supported. CE and FCC Class A certification is included.
