MIX-ASLD1

MIX-ASLD1 – Mini-ITX Industrial Motherboard with 8-Port GbE by AAEON

The AAEON MIX-ASLD1 is a Mini-ITX industrial motherboard powered by the Intel Processor N97 and designed for compact network appliance and edge computing deployments requiring high port density. It delivers eight Gigabit Ethernet ports including one PoE port, DDR5 4800MHz memory up to 16GB, DPDK support, and onboard TPM 2.0 in a 170mm x 170mm form factor. With M.2 expansion for 5G/LTE and WiFi, a software reset button, OOB management chip, and 12V DC power input, the MIX-ASLD1 suits network gateway, firewall, and IoT edge deployments. Available from Recab, your Nordic partner for AAEON industrial motherboard solutions.
Description
The AAEON MIX-ASLD1 is a compact Mini-ITX industrial motherboard built around the Intel Processor N97 quad-core platform, tailored for engineers designing network appliances, security gateways, and IoT edge systems that demand high Ethernet port density in a small footprint. Measuring just 170mm x 170mm, it integrates eight Gigabit Ethernet ports across Intel I210-AT and I350-AM4 controllers, including one PoE port compliant with IEEE 802.3AT delivering up to 30W, making it well suited for powering connected devices directly from the board. DPDK support and DPDK-optimised network processing enable high-throughput packet handling for firewall and network appliance applications. The MIX-ASLD1 supports a single DDR5 4800MHz SODIMM slot with up to 16GB of non-ECC unbuffered memory, one SATA 6Gb/s port, and an M.2 2280 M-Key slot for NVMe or SATA SSD storage. Wireless expansion is available via an M.2 3042/3052 B-Key slot for 5G/LTE with Nano SIM support, and an M.2 2230 E-Key with CNVi for WiFi and Bluetooth. An onboard OOB management chip, console port via RJ45, software reset button, and onboard TPM 2.0 (Infineon SLB9672) provide enterprise-level management and security capabilities. The 8-bit DIO interface and chassis fan connector support industrial integration needs, while 12V DC power input and a compact form factor simplify embedded chassis design. Compatible with Windows 10, Windows 11, and Linux Ubuntu 22.04, the MIX-ASLD1 is the right choice for SD-WAN appliances, industrial routers, and multi-port edge gateway platforms. Available from Recab, your Nordic partner for AAEON industrial motherboard solutions.
