KWS 3000-ADL

KWS 3000-ADL – Industrial AI Workstation by Kontron

The Kontron KWS 3000-ADL is a compact industrial workstation designed for machine learning, AI workflows, and graphics-intensive applications demanding continuous 24/7 reliability. Powered by 13th Gen Intel Core i3/i5/i7/i9 processors and supporting up to 128 GB DDR5-4800 RAM, it delivers scalable performance in a Midi Tower form factor measuring just 380 x 190 x 380 mm. With shock and vibration resistance to EN 60068 standards, operation up to 45 °C, and flexible GPU expansion via PCIe Gen5 slots, it suits demanding industrial and edge AI environments. Available from Recab, your Nordic partner for Kontron industrial workstation solutions.
Description
The Kontron KWS 3000-ADL is a powerful industrial workstation built for engineers and system integrators who need high-performance computing in environments where consumer-grade hardware simply cannot be trusted. Manufactured by Kontron, a global leader in embedded computing technology, the KWS 3000-ADL is based on the 13th Gen Intel Core platform, offering processor options ranging from the i3-13100E through to the i9-13900E on the Intel Q670E chipset. Up to 128 GB of DDR5-4800 memory across four UDIMM slots provides the headroom required for large AI datasets and complex machine learning models. Multiple PCIe expansion slots including a Gen5 x16 lane slot allow engineers to freely configure powerful GPUs such as the NVIDIA T1000 or RTX 30xx series, making the KWS 3000-ADL equally capable for graphics-hungry visualisation and parallel compute workloads. Storage flexibility is a core strength, with up to four hot-swap 3.5-inch SATA drive bays, RAID 0/1/5/10 support, and dual M.2 NVMe slots with NVMe RAID, while power supply options include redundant 700 W AC configurations for mission-critical uptime. Despite this capability, the KWS 3000-ADL remains compact, fitting within a 380 x 190 x 380 mm Midi Tower chassis rated for continuous operation from 0 °C to 45 °C, with shock resistance of 10 G and vibration tolerance across 10–150 Hz. Certified to CE, FCC, NRTL, and CB standards with an MTBF exceeding 50,000 hours, the system is well suited for industrial automation, defence simulation, medical imaging, and edge AI deployments. Available from Recab, your Nordic partner for Kontron industrial workstation solutions.
